We have temporarily wrapped one of the BCEHS ambulances in Pride colours for use at community events and parades during the summer months. The rainbow adorned ambulance made its inaugural debut in the Victoria Pride Parade in June.

BCEHS Pride pinWe are also proud to introduce the BCEHS Pride Pin. The pin is available to any BCEHS employee who requests it to wear on the right side pocket of their uniform.

The pin fuses the colours of the pride rainbow flag with the internationally recognized Star of Life. BCEHS is the first paramedic organization in Canada to offer the uniform Pride Pin.
Watch for the BCEHS logo to turn multi-coloured during Metro Vancouver’s Pride Week.

These elements reflect BCEHS’s open, inclusive and supportive approach to LGBTQ2 staff, patients and the communities we serve.
