BCAS Key to Success of Olympics

As the dust settles on Vancouver and Canadians reflect on what has been described as a redefining moment in our collective history, BC Ambulance Service can be proud of the role it played in the tremendously successful 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

Providing high quality emergency medical services to the public, athletes and spectators can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of the BCAS paramedics, dispatchers, managers and support staff who worked tirelessly during the Games and contributed to the planning efforts leading up to the event.

In addition to the legacy of being the sole provider of ambulance services and the new equipment and partnerships gained, individual BCAS members will also take away the once in a life-time experience of being involved in this proud moment in Canadian and BCAS history.
