BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) recognized employees from the Interior region with Employee Recognition Awards.
The BCAS Employee Recognition Awards program gives formal recognition to individuals or teams for their exemplary contributions. Nominations fall under four categories: Patient Care, Community Involvement, Teamwork and Leadership. Each year individuals and teams throughout BCAS are nominated by their peers, a committee reviews the nominations and selects the award recipients.
This year’s recipients in the Interior Region are:
A team of Lillooet, BC paramedics received a Teamwork award as part of the BCAS Employee Recognition Program. During the 2009 interface fires in Lillooet, BC, this team of paramedics went above and beyond the call of duty to help their communities.
