BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) presented two Vital Link Medals and two Good Samaritan Awards to four BC Ferries employees to recognize their quick actions that saved the life of a stranger.
“Without the quick recognition and response by these individuals, the patient would not be alive today,” said BCAS District Superintendent Dave Valentine. “By working as a team, they were able to determine the severity of the event and provide quick first aid assistance which was critical to his survival.”
