On April 9, 2011, two teams of BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) paramedics competed in the Canadian National Paramedic Competition in Oshawa, Ontario. After many weeks of studying and practicing, both teams delivered excellent performances competing against teams from Canada and abroad.

The Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) team, Chris Naples and Kevin Lambert placed third in their category. The Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) team, Clair Hall and Virginia Kronstein, performed well, but did not make the podium this year. According to Team Manager, Clarke McGuire and Co-Manager, John Richmond, the journey was a tremendous success from start to finish and the teams were honoured to compete against other skilled paramedics. Congratulations on a job well done!
