Vital Link Award Presented at a Re-Birthday Party

Client: Awards
Date: March 01, 2011

On the afternoon of February 2, 2010, Patrick Lawlor, of Lawlor Jewellery, and his staff were in a meeting at the Vancouver store on Pandora Street when they noticed that Lawlor was slumped over the desk and unconscious. Staff moved him to the floor and employees Leslie Hope immediately began to administer continuous chest compressions, which she had learned many years ago in a first aid course. Paramedics arrived shortly afterwards and took over Lawlor’s care while transporting him to St. Paul’s Hospital. Leslie was awarded a BC Ambulance Service Vital Link Award in recognition of her life-saving assistance.
