Paramedic Unit Chief Receives Commendation Award

Cortes Island Unit Chief Elizabeth Richardson has won a COO's Commendation Award for outstanding contributions.

BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) Cortes Island Unit Chief Elizabeth Richardson has won a Chief Operating Officer’s Commendation Award for outstanding contributions to the BCAS and the community and a leader in providing health care services.

“All of our staff in BC do an excellent job ensuring that patients receive the best care possible,” said BCAS’ Chief Operating Officer Les Fisher. “Each year there are outstanding individuals and teams who go above the call of duty – these awards provide an opportunity for them to be recognized by their peers. From the peer-nominated awards, a small number of Provincial Awards are presented, including the one received by Liz.”
