Critical Incident Stress

Critical incident stress is a normal reaction to an abnormal event.
Navigating life as a first responder and supporting the first responder in your life can bring up simple questions such as “Is this normal?” or “How can I help them?”.

The events paramedics and dispatchers respond to are in no way normal. They are challenging, physically and emotionally, which can take a toll on your personal life. Sometimes, you just can’t “get over it”.

This information will help you process those challenges.
