Advanced Care Paramedics (ACPs) must have the following licenses and certificates prior to being eligible for hire with BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS):
A valid Advanced Care Paramedic license issued through the Emergency Medical Licensing Board
Class 1, 2 or 4 BC driver's license (or out of province equivalent), or the ability to obtain within 6 months from your start date.
19 years of age or older
You are legally entitled to work in Canada
You are available to work a variety of shifts as required
You are medically fit and have the ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
You have previous work experience with high acuity calls in a high call volume area
You have the proven ability to lead others
You are considered a team player by other health care professionals
