BC Emergency Health Services encourages staff to take part in professional development and community service.
When you join BCEHS, you have access to a wide range of education and training opportunities, including:
- Interactive, in-person courses offered across British Columbia
- Professional development events and online courses through the BCAS Learning Centre
Staff may also take part in events such as the Paramedic Games and Education Symposium. This annual event brings paramedics from across the province together for a weekend of team building, workshops and simulated emergency scenarios.
These activities help paramedics learn from one another, share best practices, and build strong working relationships. By training together, BCEHS paramedics stay to deliver safe, high-quality care during real emergencies.
