Our Youth Pathways Programs give students hands-on, engaging ways to explore careers in emergency health services. Through interactive simulations and practical training, students can learn what it's like to work in this field.
These programs are designed for different grade levels. Whether you're just curious about being a paramedic or ready to learn more about emergency response, each program helps you build skills and gain real-world insight.

This school-sponsored event gives students a first-hand look at emergency medical services.
Build your skills and learn more about paramedicine at this hands-on youth camp.
- Get CPR training and AED certification

- Receive naloxone training
This two-day, one-night school-sponsored camp helps you develop teamwork, leadership and critical thinking skills. You'll leave with practical experience you can add to your resume.
Grow your knowledge with the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course, a post-secondary course from JIBC taught at your high school.
