In-person hiring events

Get Connected Job Fair​

When: Febraury 12​, 2026 | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: Gitanmaax Hall (1965 Hwy 62, Hazelton, BC)​​

Join our team in person to learn more about careers with BC Emergency Health Services and what it’s like to serve communities across British Columbia. Our team members will be on site to answer questions about job opportunities, the application process, and working with BCEHS. 

BCEHS Open House

When: February 12​, 2026 | 3 – 7 p.m.
Where: 10-2510 Hwy 62, Hazelton, BC Ambulance Station

Team members will be on site to answer questions about working with BCEHS as well hosting on-site interviews. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing more about what it means to serve where it matters most. 

BCEHS Open House

When: February 13​, 2026 | 1 – 4 p.m.
Where: Ambulance Station 674 (1590 Kitwanga North Rd, Kitwanga, BC)​

Join us in person to learn more about career opportunities with BC Emergency Health Services and how our teams support emergency care in communities across the province. Our team will be available to answer questions about working with BCEHS and the application process. We look forward to connecting with you and sharing what it’s like to be part of a service that’s there when it matters most.

WorkBC Open House

When: February 23​, 2026 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Where: Nakusp WorkBC Open Office (205 6th Ave NW, Nakusp BC)​

We’ll be kicking things off with a presentation at 9 a.m., followed by time to connect, ask questions, and explore career opportunities in emergency health care. If you’re ready to make a difference in rural and remote communities, this is your chance to learn how you can build a meaningful career with BCEHS. Come meet our team and discover how you can answer the call in your community.​

BC Outdoor Show

Dawson Creek Trade Show

Where: Ovintiv Events Centre (#1-300 Highway 2, Dawson Creek, BC)​

Visit us to discuss employment options across BC, including full time, part time, and on call opportunities, and to answer questions about training, career progression, and working in rural and urban communities.​​

2026 Regional Career Expo & Forum

When: May 8, 2026 | 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Terrace Sportsplex main arena (3320 Kalum St. Terrace, BC)​

Our team will be available to answer questions, share firsthand insights, and discuss career paths, training, and opportunities with BCEHS. This free, in-person event brings together employers and community partners to support workforce development across Northwest BC.​

Come on by to one or more of our open houses/hiring events listed above! No appointment is needed – this is an opportunity to meet with our team who will share their experiences working at BCEHS and guide you through the hiring process. BCEHS careers include Emergency Call Takers, Emergency Medical Dispatchers, Primary Care Paramedics, and more. Ask your questions and get all the answers from our dedicated staff.

Open houses: Qualified individuals will be screened for available positions, with on-site interviews available for successful candidates. Prior to attending, please complete an application for employment, a criminal record check, and an ICBC driver's abstract. Please bring BC driver's licence, EMALB licence, government-issued ID, and if applicable, work permit (and the forms to be completed ahead of time).
