The Emergency Medical Assistants Education Fund Award supports the recruitment and retention of paramedics in rural and remote communities. By helping students complete their training, the award also supports high-quality patient care.

The Vancouver Foundation offers this award to students enrolled in an approved full-time or part-time Emergency Medical Assistant program for primary care paramedics or advanced care paramedics. JIBC​ provides administrative support for this fund on behalf of the Vancouver Foundation.
