The visits, part of a series of station tours planned for this year, were a good opportunity to touch base and get feedback following the recent deployment changes announced for the area.

"It`s always great to get out and spend time with our paramedics and managers and hear from them what they think is going well and where we still have challenges," said Barb.

"We got some great feedback from these stations, and I am always impressed by the passion and commitment our staff have to improving the care we provide to patients and the support we provide to staff.

"An ongoing issue we are committed to improving this year is the timekeeping scheduling and pay processes."
